Swim Lessons for Kids in Commack

At Saf-T-Swim Commack, we believe swimming is a fundamental life-saving skill that opens the door to special moments in and around the water. Whether you want your child to develop life-saving water safety skills, participate in elite competitions, or simply learn fundamental strokes, our kid’s swimming lessons are ideal for all ages and abilities.

Our children's swim lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they hope to learn basic water safety or refine existing skills to compete individually or as part of a swim team. Our small class sizes and warm water pools help kids feel comfortable and confident without the overwhelming distractions that often come with large swim classes.

Swimming lessons for kids at Saf-T-Swim Commack teaches the five essential learn to swim skills every child should know: buoyancy, arm/leg motion, breath control, body positioning, and one of the most important, flotation!

Why do kids need swimming lessons?

Swimming is an essential life skill that will make your kids safer. Sadly, drowning is still a leading cause of accidental death for children under the age of 5. Giving your child swimming lessons empowers them with skills and experiences that keep them safer in and around water.

Swimming is also a great way to get exercise, participate socially with other children, and enjoy special moments with friends and family. Whether they’re splashing in a backyard pool, enjoying some family fun at the beach, or attending a pool party with friends, all kids can benefit from being stronger, safer swimmers.
